The Fourth Jamgon Kongtrul gave a reading transmission and a brief teaching on "Calling the Lama From Afar" by the First Jamgon Kongtrul Lodro Thaye on the morning of February 29, 2012 to international students at the Kagyu Monlam in Bodhgaya. In the talk, he stressed the importance of having devotion to one's lama. He said practicing without devotion is like planting a burnt seed, and from it no positive result can come.
